When I worked for the American Hot Rod Foundation, one of the highlights of my job was to make a small film about the HRR’s honoree of the Petersen Award. It is an award given each year to hot rodders who have contributed significantly to the industry. This year is was a special honor to make a film about one of the nicest guys in the business, Alex Xydias. Over the last few years Alex and I have become close as he has helped me with the history of hot rodding. It was great to be part of such a special moment and to be among such good friends. here are some photos of the event as well as the small bio of Alex. Enjoy!
