Greatest Living Guitarist Helps Invest In The Next Generation of Auto Pioneers
I can’t quite believe it myself but a black EC Signature Fender Stratocaster signed by Eric Clapton arrived at my office the other day. The guitar, donated by the man himself, will be auctioned to raise money for the AMP Education program. The program provides workshops, tours and events to kids across the country.
You may well be asking: how did he get that? Well, it has to do with luck, a brother-in-law, Jeremy Clarkson, (presenter of Top Gear) my own brother Tom and of course, the kindness of EC.
Suffice to say I am forever indebted to Mr. Clapton for his kind support and generosity. he has started a ball rolling that promises to become a rare and rich collection of items that will be raffled and auctioned off at the Music City Motor Jam on June 27th, 2009.
