Henry was director of the American Hot Rod Foundation (2001-2007) where he filmed over 150 hot rod pioneers collecting 450 hours of footage; produced two documentaries (Deuce 2007; Slingshot 2006) and collected and catalogued over 20,000 hot rod photos.  Henry has worked as a visual anthropologist making films for ad agencies and other companies.  He came to New York in 1998 to make a one hour PBS documentary for PBS called “Bobby Darin: Beyond The Song”. He stayed and made a few more films. He’s worked at the BBC in the UK, produced a ten minute claymation (Boiling Point, 1996) walked through Cameroon, lived on an Aboriginal reservation for a year and has driven both his 32 Ford roadster and 32 Ford sedan across country. He has a lovely wife, Leslie, and five kids (two of which are hot rods). All boys.
